A four-lane PCI Express capture device called the Datapath VisionAV-HD has three video capture inputs, two of which allow HD capture and one of which supports SD composite video. These three separate video channels can all be recorded at once. The VisionAV-HD also includes numerous audio recording channels, which may be time-stamped in software to match all video capture channels. This half-length, full-height card has a sixteen-lane complete mechanical connection with notches that allow it to accommodate motherboard connectors with 4, 8, and 16 lanes. Additionally, VisionAV-HD has integrated audio capture from the HDMI stream that may be timed to match the corresponding visual channel. Through an optional audio module, this video capture device offers balanced and unbalanced analogue audio capture (the Datapath AM2).

This provides a single flexible card solution for areas such as medical, lecture capture, web casting and video conferencing.
