About: HoverCam Solo 8 Plus Document Camera

For use in the classroom, the HoverCam Solo 8 Plus Document Camera is a combination microscope, high-resolution video camera, and photo camera. You can record hundreds of hours of video at 30 frames per second up to 4K resolution and 120 frames per second slow-motion video. Take photos with 13MP resolution and zoom in on objects or documents up to 480x (six times the ASR zoom, eight times the interpolated digital zoom, and ten times the mechanical zoom). Sound is caught by means of an underlying mic with coordinated sound decrease.

The HoverCam Solo 8 Plus uses a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connection to connect to your PC. For video output, you can connect the PC to a whiteboard or projector. The Solo is powered by the USB connection to a PC, so it doesn't need a separate power adapter. With any documentation or images you present to the class, get creative with the HoverCam Flex 10 Windows annotation software. Once the Solo and PC are connected, the software can be accessed on your PC. It comes preloaded on the Solo.
