About: Blackmagic Design Teranex AV

Blackmagic Design Teranex AV is a Low latency processing for use in live production and events. It offers HDMI 2.0a input supporting video formats up to Ultra HD 2160p60HDMI 2.0a input loop through, so the HDMI input can be looped out to a monitor or projector. Two independent 12G-SDI inputs, SDI1 and SDI2, with loop-through, selectable by toggling the front panel SDI input button. The two inputs may also be used for dual link sources and are auto-switching between SD, HD, 3G-HD, 2K, 6G and 12G Ultra HD. Reference output for sync generation, providing user-selectable black burst or tai-level sync output locked to the frame rate of the current video output format.

Teranex AV offers Quad HDSDI outputs on 4 dedicated BNC connectors for Ultra HD formats. When an Ultra HD output format is not in use, the four BNC connectors provide replicated SDI video outputs, providing added integration flexibility

Supports both quad SDI output methods for Ultra HD: Two-sample interleave (2SI) and quad HD Split (square division multiplex) for connection to downstream equipment
Internal still store for capturing a corporate logo, presentation slide or other image
Internal Live Freeze Frame mode for capturing a temporary still frame of the active input
Output switching between 4 choices: the active video input (SDI1, SDI2, HDMI or optical), black, still frame and freeze frame
2x XLR audio input connections, switchable between two analog channels or 2 pairs of AES/EBU digital audio
Audio test tones can now be inserted into the internally generated video test signals o USB Type C interface for software updates
