Features

Two independent software controllable BNC ports (one bi-directional, one output-only), operable in ASI or SDI mode, with individual status LEDs.
Cable equalization and inverted ASI support, as well as (8- and) 10-bit SDI full-frame (270Mbps), with support for lossless SDI huffman encoding/decoding for reduction of bus bandwidth and file size.
Hardware counters for bitrate measurement and statistics and flexible receive mode with time-stamping, packet sequence counting and false-sync pass-through.
Watchdog-controlled input-to-output bypass relays; in case hardware or software fails, the output is physically connected to the input.
Transmit on timestamp mode for generation of ASI test streams with packet jitter.
Bitrate lock mode for locking the output bitrate to the input bitrate.
Raw ASI mode for transmitting or receiving all ASI symbols, including K28.5 stuffing characters.

Applications

Simple fail-over configuration for High-Availability stream generation.
Using the StreamXpert and SdEye software all ports can be individually monitored and analyzed.
In combination with MuxXpert you can real-time multiplex streams from input to output.
