The Datavideo HDR-80 ProRes 4K Video Recorder supports UHD 4K recording through HDMI, 12G-SDI, or 4x 3G-SDI ISO for up to 4x 3G-SDI sources. The HDR-80 includes a 5-inch touch screen that allows you to simply set parameters and view footage. To achieve improved video quality, the 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs use the ProRes video compression technology. Close captioning is available on the HDR-80. Subtitles can be kept on the disc as a separate file for simple post-editing. Because the HDR-80's audio input may be incorporated into video for output playback, it is ideal for live event broadcasting. The control interface supports DVIP (Ethernet), GPI, and RS-232, and may be used in any setting.
