About: Datapath VisionRGB-E1S Single Channel

Resolutions up to 1920x1080 DVI or 2048x1536 Analog are supported with the Datapath VisionRGB-E1S single capture channel. The analogue or digital data is captured by the VisionRGB-E1s and triple buffered before being stored onboard. The host system can then display, save, or stream this data after it has been copied via DMA. Performance is increased when a Datapath graphics card is utilised since the VisionRGB-E1s delivers data directly to the graphics card. The VisionRGB-E1s direct each display channel to produce the necessary sections of each collected image using its own graphics engine. This maximises hardware use and significantly boosts performance.

When the RGB/DVI data is displayed on a non Datapath graphics card, the VisionRGB-E1s sends the data to system memory or direct to the graphics card, dependant on the software used for display.
