The Master Control Unit, which is what controls the Atomos Neon 24 HDR 4K Production Monitor, is powered by the AtomosOS. You may upgrade to the newest Atomos technology without having to replace the complete display because the Master Control Unit is user-replaceable. An IR remote control that comes with the NEON provides some limited control, but the best method for complete control is to utilise the iOS mobile device's downloaded software. The monitor displays your video when it is input by HDMI or SDI (using the accompanying SDI extension module). Additionally, it may record your video in ProRes Raw, ProRes, DNx, or Cinema DNG to a 2.5" SSD in the Master Caddy II or to an additional AtomX SSDmini.
