In addition to all the features the CD-X1500 has, the CD-X1700 also has a larger jogwheel, reverse playback, onboard multi-effects, Key Original (master tempo) in all tempo ranges up to 100%, and a dedicated 10 second sampler on each side of the controller. The CD-X1700 can also playback MP3 encoded CDs with the ability to pitch bend and change tempo of the MP3 files. The CD-X1700 also supports the TTM-1 scratch controller that allows you to control the CD audio with many popular DJ turntables.
