As configured, the array offers an impressive 4 TB of storage spread across four physical drives. The eSATA interface allows you to work with single-stream 8-bit 1080/60i video in RAID 0 mode. By using redundant hot swappable drives the array protects your data and makes it easy to replace a drive and the data that was on it in the case of a failure. The array is compatible with RAID levels 1, 5, or 10 for data protection. It can also be configured as a RAID 0 or JBOD for maximum performance without protection.

Four G-SPEED eS arrays can be striped together for enhanced data throughput. Striping units together facilitates a workflow that supports data throughput in excess of 600 MB/sec. Even with two striped units, you'll be able to work with 10-bit 1080i/60 HD video, even in RAID 5 mode.

The G-SPEED eS features web browser based firmware for system management. This lets you configure the RAID through almost any computer using an intuitive GUI interface. The hard drive modules and fans are hot swappable, allowing constant operation while equipment is being replaced
